Our Strategic Pillars and Goals serve as the foundation for ICSP’s commitment to advancing cyber security excellence. These pillars focus on capacity building, industry collaboration, innovation, and policy advocacy, guiding our efforts to empower professionals, influence standards, and drive sustainable growth in the cyber security landscape. Together, they shape our path toward a more secure and resilient digital world.

Professional Education and Certification

• Goal: Offer industry-relevant certification and training to meet global cybersecurity workforce demands.
• Key Actions:
o Launch certification tracks for entry-level, intermediate, and expert professionals.
o Partner with universities and tech companies for curriculum development.
o Offer hybrid learning (in-person and online).

Research, Policy, and Advocacy

• Goal: Become a thought leader on cyber security policy, ethics, and technology.
• Key Actions:
o Establish a Cyber security Research and Policy Center.
o Publish an annual report on cyber trends and risks in Africa and globally.
o Host expert forums and whitepaper publications.

Capacity Building and Workforce Development

• Goal: Build a diverse pipeline of cybersecurity professionals, especially in underrepresented regions and communities.
• Key Actions:
o Create scholarships and mentorship programs.
o Launch youth-focused cyber awareness programs.
o Develop vocational tracks for technicians and non-degree professionals.

Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
